About Me

Whilst working for Rape Crisis with survivors of sexual abuse, I learnt how hard life can be and how every aspect of it is affected. I also learnt what happens in the brain and body when someone is experiencing trauma. This can be helpful for people to know so that they understand that the brain works independently of our will, and that we are not always in control of our actions or responses.

People have come to me for counselling for an array of different issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, gender orientation, financial worries, work stress, weight issues, phobias, grief and loss, low self-worth, loud inner critic, confidence issues.

It is a passion of mine to provide help and support through counselling and psychotherapy to people who have experienced anything which has had a detrimental effect on their lives.
